Introduction
The Rapid DNA Extraction Solution provides a fast, simple, and affordable method for the preparation of genomic DNA for template preparation in PCR amplification without the use of toxic chemicals or spin columns.
DNA extraction requires only heat treatment to lyse cells or tissues, which releases DNA and degrades PCR inhibitors, and heat-treated sample DNA can be used directly for PCR. With an automated system, hundreds of samples can be processed in multi-well plates. The Rapid DNA Extraction Solution can be used for DNA extraction from hair follicles, feather terminal cells, tissue culture cells, oral cells, zebrafish organs, scales, rat tails and other samples. The extracted DNA is suitable for PCR-based analysis such as animal genome, transgenic or viral DNA screening; genetic/environmental studies and screening of humans and other organisms; and CRISPR/Cas9 library screening.
