Description

After the body fluid sample is lysed and denatured by the lysis buffer, the denatured protein and impurities are filtered and removed by column purification technology, and the nucleic acid adsorbed on the spin column can be directly eluted with Buffer TE or water after washing and can be used in various molecular biology experiments.

Specifications

  • Samples: Cell-free body fluid samples, including plasma, serum, urine, CSF, and cell culture supernatants.
  • Starting sample volume: 100 μl body fluid
  • Recovery: Up to 90% viral RNA.
  • Application: RNA virus nucleic acid detection.

Experimental data

Figure 1: Amplification plot of HCV detection.

Curve 1: RNA extracted from 100 µl, 5×105 copies/ml HCV serum with Simgen Viral RNA Extraction Kit (one-step RT-PCR, 25 µl RNA were added to a 50 µl amplification system).

Curve 2: RNA extracted with Trizol (glycogen added to help RNA precipitate) from 100 μl of the same 5×105 copies/ml HCV serum (one-step RT-PCR, 25 µl RNA were added to a 50 µl amplification system)

Figure 2: Amplification plot of HCV detection.

RNA extracted with Simgen Viral RNA Extraction Kit as an amplification template from different concentration of HCV serum. One-step RT-PCR, 25 µl RNA were added to a 50 µl amplification system.

1: 5×105 copies/ml, 2: 5×104 copies/ml, 3: 5×103 copies/ml, 4: 5×102 copies/ml.
