Description
Whole blood samples were treated with lysozyme, hemoglobin was removed using a patented technology, and the total DNA of blood and bacteria in the supernatant was obtained by column purification technology. The detection sensitivity of bacterial DNA in whole blood extracted from this product is more than 10 times higher than that of bacterial DNA extracted by traditional boiling method.
Specifications
Application: PCR, RFLP analysis.
Sample amount: 350 μl whole blood.
Instruments required: A high-speed centrifuge with rotor for 2 ml tubes.

Figure 1: Bacillus subtilis gene amplification plot
1, 2: Amplification plot from DNA extracted from two whole blood samples mixed with 350 μl of Bacillus subtilis using the Whole Blood Bacterial DNA Kit.
3, 4: Amplification plot from DNA extracted from 50 μl the same sample using the boiling method.
There was a 10-fold difference in the concentrations of Bacillus subtilis between the two samples.
