Pfu DNA Polymerase
Pfu DNA Polymerase was isolated and purified from Escherichia coli cloned with the Pyrococcus furiosis DNA polymerase gene, Pfu DNA Polymerase has 5′→3′ DNA polymerase activity and 3′→5′ exonuclease activity to correct base mismatches generated during DNA amplification. The Pfu DNA Polymerase has the lowest error rate of all high-temperature DNA polymerases that have been discovered to date. The PCR product is blunt-end, which can be treated with A-Tailing and then ligated with a T vector or blunt-end cloning vector.
