Hot-start Taq DNA polymerase is a solution that mixes a monoclonal antibody against Taq DNA polymerase with Taq DNA polymerase in 1:1 unit. The Taq antibody has a very high affinity for Taq DNA polymerase and can block the activity of Taq DNA polymerase before denaturation at high temperatures, so it can effectively inhibit primer-dimers and non-specific amplification, greatly improving the accuracy of PCR reactions. Hot-start Taq DNA polymerases can be used under conventional PCR reaction conditions without special high-temperature treatment, and are suitable for a variety of hot-start PCR and qPCR reactions based on Taq DNA polymerases. The 3′ end of the PCR product is Adenine base, which can be cloned directly with TA vector.
